Persuasive Writing - Hats

You should wear hats at Papakura Central School in term 1 and 4 because you might get sunburnt and you can get skin cancer if you don’t wear a hat. So wear your hats in term 1 and 4 so none of that can happen to you! Your should wear hats at Papakura Central School during summer. You can get sunburned. Sunburns are really bad! But what is worse is a heat stroke! But normally a heat stroke happens from dehydration..

But let’s talk about being sunburnt. Sunburns are caused by the UV Rays (Ultraviolet light) - which are not very warm.. But did you know Sunburns don’t do any damage to the cells in your body? But sometimes really bad things happen when you get sunburnt. Watch out!

 The bucket hat here doesn’t protect yourself so good. The old hat it had a wide brim and it protected me but now we have the bucket hats.. the old hat is better because it didn’t blow off your head but the bucket hats do the old hat with the wide brim it has more protection to your skin so you don’t get sunburnt.
